International Project Management is often like project management in the Express Lane with heavy traffic: You can see where you want to go, but can’t find a way to get there. But if properly planned and understood, International Project Management can add significant value to an organization, and provide the manager with valuable skills and experiences. Anette Estrada will talk about the golden rules of running successful international projects and even admit to the many fender-benders and near-misses along the way.
Presenter: Anette Estrada is an audit partner at BDO USA, LLP and has been conducting and managing global engagements for over 20 years. She also leads the BDO German Desk, liaising with clients and colleagues on U.S./German engagements and business opportunities. Her clients include companies in manufacturing, retail, software, as well as distributors and service companies. Born and raised in Germany, Anette has also lived in Spain and Colombia, and she is fluent in Spanish. She is active in her community serving as Treasurer of the Grand Rapids Symphony, Member of the Michigan District Export Council – West, and Treasurer of Revive & Thrive Project.
