Dewpoint’s CISO obtains Registered Practitioner Certification

Don Cornish, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO),  recently obtained his Registered Practitioner (RP) Certification through the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification-Accredited Body (CMMC-AB) as part of Dewpoint’s charge of staying abreast of updates and changes in the IT industry.  As an RP, Don will be a valuable partner to clients impacted by the CMMC through well-informed advice, insights, and recommendations to clients impacted by the CMMC. In addition to the RP certification, Don holds the following certifications Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP, ITIL V3 Foundations, ISO 27001 ISMS Master Implementer, and SANS session 504: Hacking Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling.

Dewpoint is a Registered Provider Organization for CMMC.  The CMMC-AB is the non-profit governing body that oversees the CMMC working in conjunction with the Department of Defense. It also establishes and oversees a qualified, trained, and high-fidelity community of assessors and consultants that can deliver consistent audits and informative assessments/services to participating organizations against a defined set of controls/best practices within the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program.
